Between Bushwick and Broadway is an abstraction from the Micros series, which has its roots in some photographs I made as a kid using my dad’s camera. Of course I didn’t recognize it then, but scale and time are two very important things to consider when I create pictures of any sort. Micros includes images that involve techniques that require both a painting and a photographic process to capture a tenuous moment.
The largest size is printed on 310 gsm 100% cotton rag paper, flush mounted by hand with archival gel to a 2.8” primed wood panel. Finished with a high gloss color stable resin and ready to hang with the installed heavy-duty wire.
The other size of the edition are unmounted museum quality prints, made with pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper (unless otherwise noted), signed by me and numbered on the reverse. A signed certificate of authenticity listing artwork details and provenance is also included.
